What is the difference between a heated (candle, electrical heated) water or other heated system vaporiser and the Bios-Air diffuser?
The BIOS-AIR diffuses the oils accordingly to the environment temperature, breaking the oil into a mist of tiny droplets that are then released into the air. The diffuser type releases a higher concentration. Candle heated system can overheat the oil. By the BIOS system an aromatic ion are quickly diffused into the air, the essential oil, purifies, regenerates and perfumes the air.

How long must the BIOS-AIR diffuser function?
Normally the duration of use should not exceed 20 minutes three times a day average. You can connect your diffuser to an timer which will give you all the necessary timing to diffuse.

What happens if I forget to put off the BIOS-AIR diffuser?
See previous question/answer, however mechanically there is no problem to have the diffuser running continuously. If you should forget, the liquid will vaporise and the diffuser will just pump air without any harm done.

Why not fill it up higher than indicated level?
If the motor stops and the liquid can enter the nozzle, the liquid could enter into the pump, if the pump should be placed lower than the glass and you would have serious technical problems without warranty!

Please, pay attention when you clean with alcohol (Inflammable!). Here also! Never fill it up higher than indicated or simply higher than the nozzles.

I haven't used my diffuser for a certain while. The liquid became thick by oxidation. What to do?
Put some alcohol in the glass, watch the level! Make the diffuser run for 5 minutes at maximum capacity. When you see diffusion, stop the motor, put off the glass. Throw away the liquid, be careful alcohol! This operation needed to be repeated in some neglected cases. Attention: Take off the glass of the pump, each time you manipulate the glass to empty it! If the glass stays dirty(for example; in case the glass was not emptied for a long time), take it off and let it soak for 12 hours in water in which you added 20 % ammoniac. Then proceed to normal cleaning with alcohol

Can we use the diffuser in a children's room?
Under the age of five we do not advise to use a diffuser in a children's room. From 6 to 8 years old you can use orange, eucalyptus for calming or a cold but limited in time.

Why use the diffuser just one hour a day?
A One hour a day is sufficient to appreciate the benefits of the oil. Of course you can use a timer and, for instance, have it function 15 minutes every two hours.

Can we leave the diffuser the whole night function in a room?
Better avoid this situation. But again every two hours with a timer with a calming or respiration synergy of oils for 15 minutes every 2 hours
